INDUSTRIAL CONVERSION - INFOMART

The project consisted of the gut renovation of two connected existing refrigerator/freezer building equaling 430,000 sf for the conversion to a telecommunications switch motel. This was a gut core-shell retrofit with building additions and included full site development to contain parking, four 2 mega-watt on site generator plants, subsurface and above-ground fuel storage. In addition to comprehensive MEP FP FA, civil/site/survey, structural and geotechnical engineering packages, the project require comprehensive land-use permitting, including Site Plan Approval, Conservation Commission, Zoning Board of Appeals approvals, as well as permitting related to the abandonment of and existing railroad line that traversed the property.
